HISTORY
In 2007 Bridges was formed to guide young young people to make better choices. The founder, Daniel Auld, is a former gang member, drug dealer, drug addict and ex-con who began to make better choices after he accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior. With his new found faith, Daniel was released from prison, entered a recovery house, secured his GED, entered college, joined a church and later began to work with children. That work with children was later organized into the BRIDGES program which included gang awareness and drug awareness seminars, tutoring, mentoring, group outings, visits to local schools on behalf of students, advocacy for affordable housing and contact with local officials on behalf of youth and their families. The local government currently employs "Uncle Daniel" in their recreation department. He also volunteers in the municipal after school homework program, serves on the local Affordable Housing Committee and is a board member of Caring For Kids. Bridges currently works in conjucntion with Middle Township Recreation Department and The Great Commission Baptist Church (both of Cape May Court House, NJ)
